Well it's a been a month since I got back from Europe and thus far my biggest trip has been down to Birmingham Alabama to finish up a project. Summer is in full swing here in Chicago and I can't think of a better place to be! Fireworks twice a week, boating, free concerts, a bajillion festivals, late nights walking neighborhoods, eating at wonderful restaurants outdoors, beach bumming, and the return of rugby in my life!
In between all of this I do work and Im alternating weekends to the family lake house in Indiana. Situated on a natural lake in northeastern Indiana, I enjoy having this amenity since moving to Chicago. It's far enough away to escape the city but close enough i can get there any time I like.
So Cheers to all, enjoy your summer, wear sunscreen, play hookey one day, get out there before fall and winter set in and we all are dreaming of those 90 degree days once more.
